Charity is not enough: we need social reform!
– Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati

Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati (1901–1925) was an Italian layman known for his deep faith, love for the poor, and joyful spirit. A passionate mountaineer and student of engineering, he lived the Gospel through charity, prayer, and service, often saying, “Verso l’alto!”—“To the heights!” Though he died at just 24, his life became a model of holiness for young people, blending everyday life with heroic virtue and love for Christ.
